Windham Jaguars Claims Lead In Seventh Inning To Defeat Salem

The Jaguars snagged a late lead and defeated Salem 7-3 on Tuesday. The game was tied at three with the Jaguars batting in the top of the seventh when Makayla Panich singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

The Jaguars got things moving in the second inning, when Jasmine Moskowitz singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

Windham Jaguars evened things up at three in the top of the fifth inning when Peyton Gravell drove in two when she tripled.

Abby Bedient toed the rubber for the Jaguars surrendering three runs on seven hits over seven innings, striking out five and walking zero.

The Jaguars collected 11 hits on the day. Panich, P. Gravell, Kendall Gravell, and Larissa Piessens all managed multiple hits for the Jaguars. Piessens, K. Gravell, P. Gravell, and Panich all had two hits to lead Windham Jaguars.
