Windham Jaguars Varsity Can't Catch Up To Concord
Windham Jaguars watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 3-1 loss to Concord on Tuesday. Concord scored on a double by Elise O’Neil in the first inning and a triple by Sydney Plante who scored on an error on the play in the second inning.
Abigail Rochette took the win for Concord. She lasted seven innings, allowing four hits and one run while striking out 16.
Abby Bedient took the loss for Windham. She surrendered three unearned runs on seven hits over six innings, striking out eight and walking zero.
Aislinn Milner, Jasmine Moskowitz, Grace Bono, and Larissa Piessens each collected one hit to lead Windham Jaguars Varsity. Windham Jaguars Varsity didn't commit a single error in the field. Makayla Panich had eight chances in the field, the most on the team.
The Jags are in action again tomorrow as they travel to Manchester to take on Manchester Memorial at 4:30.
