Varsity Defeats Timberlane 13-1

Windham Jaguars Varsity's Bedient Throws No-Hitter To Defeat Timberlane
Abby Bedient was brilliant in the pitcher's circle on Monday, as she threw a no-hitter to lead Windham Jaguars past Timberlane 13-1.
Larissa Piessens led the Jaguars to victory by driving in four runs. She went 2-for-4 at the plate. Piessens drove in runs on a home run in the third.
Windham opened up scoring in the first inning. Grace Bono drove in one when she doubled.
In the bottom of the second inning, Timberlane tied things up at one.
TheJaguars pulled away for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Piessens homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.
Windham put up eight runs in the fourth inning as Aislinn Milner homered, Kendall Gravell, Piessens, Bono, and Makayla Panich each had RBIs in the big inning.
Bedient was the winning pitcher for Windham lasted five innings, allowing zero hits and one run while striking out six and walking one.
Windham Jaguars Varsity racked up 12 hits in the game. Piessens, Panich, Peyton Gravell, and Bono all managed two hits apiece for the Jaguars. Windham was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Panich made the most plays with six.
