Jaguars Can't Catch Up To Pinkerton

Windham Jaguars Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 1-0 loss to Pinkerton on Tuesday. Pinkerton took the lead on a groundout in the second inning.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Pinkerton pitchers struck out six, while Windham Jaguars Varsity sat down five.

Pinkerton got things started in the second inning. M Sullivan grounded out, scoring one run.

One bright spot for the Jaguars was a double by Peyton Gravell in the first inning.

A Ouellette was the winning pitcher for Pinkerton allowing six hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out six and walking zero.

Amelia Williamson took the loss for Windham Jaguars Varsity lasting four innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out two and walking one.

Larissa Piessens led Windham Jaguars Varsity with two hits in three at bats. The Jaguars played errorless defense. Makayla Panich had the most chances in the field with six.
